Brent Hope

Brent Hope is an experienced drilling engineer currently working at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since February 2024, with previous roles at Paramount Resources and Shell, where Brent served as a drilling engineer and drilling supervisor, respectively. Brent's early career included positions at Schlumberger Ltd. as a drilling and measurements field engineer, and Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. in various engineering and operator roles focused on production operations. Brent began in the field with Enerplus Resources Fund, focusing on gas well operations, and worked as an environmental technologist at Grande Cache Coal Corporation. Early experience includes serving as a laborer with Northside Construction Partnership. Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, completed in 2010.
