Dan H.

Dan H. is a highly experienced geologist with a focus on integrated geological interpretation and well operations. Dan currently serves as a Senior Staff Geologist at Diamondback Energy since December 2018, following the merger with Energen where Dan held the position of Staff Geologist. Previous roles include Senior Geologist at Murphy Oil, contributing significantly to the Catarina Field project, and various positions focusing on conventional asset development at EP Energy, and academic experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oklahoma State University. Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Geology from Arkansas Tech University. Skills include geological mapping, geosteering, reserve planning, and effective communication, supported by extensive experience in both field and data analysis.
