Mattie Kovacic

Mattie Kovacic has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2014, they worked as a College GameDay Student Intern at ESPN, assisting with set-up, hosting VIPs, and performing promotional and public relations work.

In 2015, they served as an Event Operations Intern at SMG | Worldwide Entertainment & Convention Venue Management, gaining experience in event management.

They then worked as an Assistant Branch Manager at Landmark Event Staffing Services Inc from 2015 to 2017, demonstrating their leadership skills.

In 2017, they became an Account Representative for ESPN College GameDay at Octagon, furthering their experience in sports and account management.

In 2018, they transitioned to NovaGen Diagnostics, taking on the role of Executive Administrator.

From 2019 to the present, they have been employed at Diamondback Energy in various land technician and business development positions, including Land Technician- Mineral Land, Land Technician- Business Development, and Land Technician II - Business Development.

Throughout their career, Mattie has gained valuable skills in administration, event management, account management, and business development.

Mattie Kovacic completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sports Administration and Commerce from Louisiana State University between 2011 and 2015. In 2021, Mattie obtained a Petroleum Land Management Certificate from Midland College. Additionally, Mattie has obtained certifications as a PBLA Member from the Permian Basin Landmen's Association in May 2022 and as an AAPL Member from the American Association of Professional Landmen in November 2021.
