Yong Cho

Yong Cho is currently the Vice President of Drilling at Diamondback Energy. Prior to this, they were the Drilling Manager at Chesapeake Energy from September 2004 to September 2015. Yong has also worked as a Sr. Drilling Engineer at ConocoPhillips from June 1998 to September 2004 and as a Drilling & Completion Manager at SK Plymouth LLC from May 2016 to April 2017. Yong Cho began their career as a Drilling Engineer at Union Pacific Resources Company in August 1992.

Yong Cho attended the Colorado School of Mines, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering.
