Laura Shesgreen

Laura Shesgreen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Laura is currently serving as the Chairperson for Stripe Technology European Ltd since January 2020. In February 2021, they joined The AA (Ireland) as a Non Executive Director. Laura also became a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Dianomi in May 2021. Additionally, Laura is a member of the Digital Advisory Board at Irish Life since October 2018 and a member of the Advisory Board at InsTech.ie since January 2022.

Previously, Laura worked at Onclusive as a CFO Advisor from July 2021 to July 2022. Laura held the position of Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Digital Catapult from September 2013 to October 2020. From April 2015 to December 2018, they were the CFO & Advisor at Boxever. Prior to that, Laura had a significant role as the CFO & Vice President of Finance at Skype from February 2007 to January 2013, where they were responsible for leading the finance function. Laura also served as the CFO of NTERA from 2001 to 2006.

Laura Shesgreen has a diverse education history. Laura began their academic journey at Ursuline Convent from 1978 to 1984, although specific details regarding degrees or fields of study during this period are not available. Following this, they attended University College Dublin from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Science with a focus on Computer Science. Subsequently, they became a Fellow Chartered Accountant after completing their studies at Chartered Accountants Ireland in 1992. In 2019, Laura pursued the International Directors Programme at INSEAD, a program they completed in 2020 and received a certificate for. Additionally, in 2022, they specialized further, obtaining a Certificate in Leading through the Chair from INSEAD. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to professional development and acquiring extensive knowledge in their field.
