Gary Brandt has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Gary is currently working at DICE Therapeutics, Inc., a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, where they hold the position of Executive Director, Computational Chemistry. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director and Director of Computational Chemistry at the same company.

Before joining DICE Therapeutics, Gary worked at Bolt Biotherapeutics, Inc. as the Director of Computational and Medicinal Chemistry. Gary was responsible for overseeing computational chemistry activities.

Before that, they worked at Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. as a Research Scientist. Gary managed a team of three chemists and had cross-departmental influence in strategy design and assay application.

Prior to Theravance Biopharma, Gary worked as a post-doctoral Research Associate at Emory University, where they focused on anti-viral agents and kinase bypass strategies.

Gary also gained experience as a Research Associate at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals and as a Research Technician at Georgia State University.

Gary's early career included working as a Lead Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy.

Gary Brandt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Georgia State University in 2005. Gary later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Kansas, completing their studies in 2011.
