Steven D.E. Sullivan

Steven D.E. Sullivan has a strong background in medicinal chemistry, with experience in both industry and academic research. Steven D.E. currently works as a Scientist I in Medicinal Chemistry at DICE Therapeutics since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Theravance Biopharma, Inc. for nine years in various roles, including Associate Scientist, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate. At Theravance Biopharma, they played a key role in the design and synthesis of multiple chemical series, contributing to the lead optimization of a key chemical series resulting in the discovery of a clinical candidate. Steven D.E. also supervised and provided guidance to junior researchers. Before entering industry, Steven worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego and also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher during their time there.

Steven D.E. Sullivan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry at UC San Diego from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at UC San Diego from 2011 to 2012.
