Howard Goldman joined Didi Hirsch in 2015 as its Chief Financial Officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in finance and operations with an extensive background in strategic and financial planning, cash management, cost reduction, contract negotiations, joint ventures and merger integration. He also has expertise in implementing improved financial and operating systems and controls and developing management information systems.
Throughout his career, Howard has worked with a variety of enterprises, including start-ups, high-growth private companies, turnarounds, and international firms such as Reuters and Warner Communications (now Time Warner). His industry experience includes business services, consumer products, distribution, entertainment, financial services, technology, manufacturing, media, and retail.
Prior to joining Didi Hirsch, Howard acted as interim Chief Financial Officer at two large nonprofit organizations, which provided housing services and care for the physically and developmentally disabled. He is particularly interested in children’s mental health, and served for five years on the board of Operation Progress, Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization aimed at helping children in Watts.
Howard began his career in the United Kingdom. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Economics and Accounting at the University of Bristol in England, and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland—a professional designation that is the equivalent to earning certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
