Daniel is an accomplished senior advisor to C-Suite executives, government officials, and Cabinet ministers, specializing in technology, communications, and innovation. With a decade of experience in business, policy, and issue management, he excels at tackling complex challenges and delivering effective solutions. Grounded in a strong social values framework, Daniel employs a consensus-driven approach that fosters broad support for action.

As a researcher at the Centre for Future Intelligence at Cambridge University, Daniel conducted groundbreaking research that shed light on how values-based messaging can shape public cognition and build deep-rooted support for policies. His findings reveal crucial insights that change how policymakers and leaders in AI technology and government policy communities can approach public engagement, build support for their initiatives, and shape the future of technology governance.

Prior to Cambridge, Daniel co-founded Principle Co, a strategy consultancy that shapes public opinion on complex policy issues. Under his leadership, Principle Co developed cutting-edge research, data analytics, and messaging capabilities that successfully influenced public perception in highly contested policy debates, including five Australian federal elections, the Australian Marriage Equality campaign, and numerous strategic challenges like securing social licenses for renewable energy projects and finance industry reform..
