Xinwen Z.

Xinwen Z. began their work experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Irvine in October 2019, where they worked until October 2020. They then moved on to the University of Florida, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher from October 2020 to December 2021. During this time, Xinwen Z. constructed a deep learning pipeline to automate fruit fly image segmentation using Convolutional neural networks, improving efficiency and reducing subjectivity. Currently, Xinwen Z. is employed as a Software Associate at DIGIOTAI Solutions since January 2023.

Xinwen Z. completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from China Agricultural University. This education took place from 2009 to 2013. Following this, Xinwen pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UC Irvine from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, Xinwen obtained a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in November 2016.
