Ahmed Aboulgheit

Ahmed AboulGheit's work experience includes serving as the Chief Procurement Officer and Head of Procurement, Contracts, and Budgeting departments at Digis Squared (Digis2) since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Contracts and Cost Control at the same company from May 2019 to March 2021. Ahmed also worked at Etisalat Misr, where they held various roles such as Manager of Technical Procurement and Contracts Management from December 2015 to May 2019, Technical Procurement Senior Team Leader from March 2014 to November 2015, and Technical Procurement Team Leader from August 2012 to March 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Procurement and Contracts Management Senior Engineer from January 2012 to July 2012, Senior Wireless Transmission Engineer from November 2008 to March 2012, and Wireless Transmission Engineer from February 2007 to October 2008. Ahmed also served as the Vice Chairman of the Group Procurement Committee at Etisalat from May 2014 to April 2016. Ahmed started their career at Orange Business Services as a Technical Support Agent from September 2005 to January 2007.

Ahmed AboulGheit began their education by completing their high school education at Patriarchal College (ex: Frères) - English Section from 1988 to 2000, where they obtained their Thanaweya Amma, a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.

Ahmed then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering at Ain Shams University from 2001 to 2005.

In 2013, Ahmed obtained certification as a CICCM (Certified International Commercial Contracts Manager) from IPSCMI.

In 2014, they attended a course at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, where they obtained a Diploma in procurement and supply. The course was completed in 2015.

Recently, in 2022, Ahmed completed the CORe Program (Business Analytics, Financial Accounting and Economics) from the Harvard Business School Online.

In addition to their formal education, Ahmed AboulGheit has also obtained several certifications. In 2022, they acquired certifications in Accounting Foundations: Bookkeeping and Accounting Foundations from LinkedIn. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Developing Executive Presence and Managerial Economics, both from LinkedIn. Ahmed also completed the Leading and Flourishing in difficult times Course from The Oxford Character Project in 2021.
