Shariq Rafeek

Shariq Rafeek has a range of experience in various roles within the gaming and content industry. In 2012, they worked as a Freelance Copywriter before transitioning to a role as a Content Manager at Wordplay Content from July 2013 to September 2015. Shariq then joined Moonfrog Labs as a Game and Narrative Designer from October 2015 to October 2018. Following that, they worked at PlayShifu as a Senior Game and Narrative Designer from November 2018 to November 2019.

Shariq's career in the gaming industry continued at U Games, where they initially served as a Game Designer from January 2020 to March 2021, before being promoted to Senior Game Designer from April 2021 to October 2021. Shariq subsequently joined Electric Manta as a Senior Game Designer from October 2021 to January 2023. Currently, Shariq Rafeek is employed as a Senior Systems Designer at DIGIT, a Scopely Studio, starting from January 2023.

Shariq Rafeek attended Baldwin Boys' High School from 1997 to 2007. Following that, they enrolled at St. Joseph's Pre-University College from 2007 to 2009, studying Commerce. Shariq then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at St Joseph's College of Commerce from 2009 to 2012.
