VP of Engineering, Star Trek Fleet Command at DIGIT Game Studios

Thomas Hentschel Lund has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Thomas Hentschel began their career in 1995 as the Cofounder and CTO of Internet Design ApS, a startup creating web-based information systems. In 1998, they became the CTO of e|novasion A/S, and in 2000 they were promoted to Global IT Director at Vigilante. From 2002 to 2004, they were the SW Development Manager at Neupart A/S. Thomas Hentschel then returned to Vigilante as the CEO/Studio Manager/CTO/Game Director/Producer from 2004 to 2015. In 2015, they became the Head of Production at SYBO Games, and in 2017 they joined Product Madness as VP of Technology. In the same year, they also became a Member of the Board of Directors at Planet Alpha ApS. In 2021, they joined DIGIT, a Scopely Studio, as VP of Engineering and Senior Tech Director for Star Trek Fleet Command.

Thomas Hentschel Lund's education history includes a BsC from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in Physics, Astronomy, and Computer Science from 1992-1995, a Gymnasie from Sønderborg Statsskole in the Math/Physics/Chemistry line from 1989-1992, and a High School diploma from South Central High School in 1988-1989. Thomas Hentschel has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Writing a Business Case (June 2020), 2-Minute Tips for Senior Leaders (April 2020), Leading at a Distance (April 2020), and Strategic Thinking (April 2020).
