Gnel Alaverdyan

Gnel Alaverdyan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business analytics, management, and data science. Gnel is the Founder of Data Design Center, established in February 2019, specializing in comprehensive business analytics, data visualization using tools like Power BI and Tableau, and advanced data science methodologies including machine learning and artificial intelligence. In addition, Gnel serves as the Head of Business Process Management at Digitain, where responsibilities include implementing internal operations systems and enhancing organizational efficiency. Previously, Gnel held various significant roles at the Competition Authority of Armenia from 2010 to 2019, culminating in positions such as Head of Business Analysis Division and Head of Stuff, focusing on data analytics and strategic counsel. Early career experience includes a role as Junior Specialist at the Customs Service of Armenia. Gnel's academic credentials include PhDs in Customs Service and Economics from the Armenian State University of Economics, underscoring a strong foundation in the field.
