C. Michael Pilato has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. C. Michael started their career in 1996 as a Programmer/Analyst at Health Care Savings, where they worked until 1997. C. Michael then joined Stellent in 1997 as a Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained content filters for various products until 2001.
In January 2001, C. Michael Pilato joined CollabNet, Inc. as a Software Engineer, and through promotions and company mergers, they eventually became a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Digital.ai. C. Michael is recognized as one of the leading designers and developers of Apache Subversion, a widely-used open-source version control system.
Aside from their work in the software industry, C. Michael Pilato has also been a member of The Apache Software Foundation since 2010. Additionally, they served as the Worship Leader and Technology Coordinator at Providence Baptist Church starting in 2009.
C. Michael Pilato earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. C. Michael attended the university from 1993 to 1997.
