Vimal Thamizharasan

Vimal Thamizharasan started their work experience in 2015 as a Redhat Trainer at CMS Computers Limited. Vimal then worked as a Senior Redhat Trainer at mazenetsolution from November 2015 to June 2017, where they provided corporate training on Red Hat, Centos Linux, and Redhat Virtualization certifications.

In July 2017, Vimal joined Digital.ai as a Support Engineer, where they supported Version Control applications like Git and SVN, and Issue tracking and Bug tracking applications like Teamforge, CloudForge, and Jira. Vimal also performed application maintenance in a Linux environment.

In May 2021, Vimal joined MicroGenesis Techsoft Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Support Engineer, working on the MBRDI project for Mercedes Benz Research and Development India. In this role, they provided L1/L2 level support in ALM and SCM tools, specifically Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Vimal also carried out server data copy activities for these applications in dedicated servers.

Finally, in August 2022, Vimal returned to Digital.ai as a Technical Support Engineer.

Overall, Vimal has gained extensive experience in technical support and training, particularly in Redhat and Atlassian tools.

Vimal Thamizharasan attended Anna University from 2002 to 2006, where they studied Information Technology and earned their Bachelor of Technology degree (BTech). In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification from Red Hat in August 2016. More recently, in May 2021, Vimal obtained the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon.
