Timo Kauppila

Timo Kauppila possesses extensive experience in IT and data management, currently serving as a Specialist at Digi- ja väestötietovirasto since May 2023, focusing on quality assurance and system testing. Prior to this role, Timo worked as a Designer at the Biobank of Eastern Finland, specializing in Python programming, SQL, and data analysis from January 2019 to April 2023. Timo's career also includes positions such as ICT Development Expert and Data Protection Officer at Niiralan Kulma Oy, IT Expert at Oikeusrekisterikeskus, Data Manager/Data Systems Designer at Kuopio University Hospital, and a Designer at both the National Institute for Health and Welfare and the Public Health Institute, among others, demonstrating a strong background in data systems design, data quality, and project development.
