John Brough

John Brough is an experienced professional in the technology and security sectors, currently serving as a Steering Committee Member for the Digital Buildings Council since April 2024. With an extensive tenure at Delta Controls Inc. starting in July 2008, John Brough has held the role of Director of Operations and previously served as Director of Operations for Northern Europe. Prior experience includes positions as Product Manager for Integrated Systems at Tyco Fire and Security (2003-2008), Service Manager at ADT Fire and Security (2001-2003), and Product Manager at Thorn Security Ltd (1994-1998). John Brough began a career in engineering as a Principal Engineer at Thorn EMI Electronics (1979-1990), specializing in microprocessor-based systems for UK defense applications, utilizing various programming languages. Educationally, John Brough holds HND degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Harrow College and Bishop Ramsey.
