Kostantinos Katsaros

Kostantinos (Kostas) Katsaros has extensive work experience in the field of technology and telecommunications. Kostantinos (Kostas) currently serves as the Head of Technology - Future Networks & 5G at Digital Catapult, where they provide oversight and guidance on 5G system architecture and implementation, leads the preparation of funding proposals, and supports the engineering team in deploying solutions. Prior to this, Kostas worked as a Lead Technologist and Senior 5G Technologist at Digital Catapult, focusing on the development and delivery of 5G projects.

Before joining Digital Catapult, Kostas worked at the University of Surrey as a Research Fellow, where they worked on the CARMA project, investigating cloud-assisted real-time methods for autonomy. Kostantinos (Kostas) also conducted cutting-edge research on hybrid vehicular architectures and served as a Research Assistant. Additionally, they held roles as a Lab Demonstrator and Demonstrator for various modules at the university.

Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras from 2003 to 2009.
