Swaminathan Kannan

Swaminathan Kannan, known as Swami, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and technology innovation, particularly in the fields of Distributed Ledger Technology, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence. Currently serving as a Senior Product Technologist and Subject Matter Expert at Digital Catapult since June 2023, Swami collaborates with startups, universities, and government agencies to promote cutting-edge DLT and AI applications in critical sectors. Previous roles include Director of Product Management at Fnality International, Global Product Owner for Banking as a Service at Publicis Sapient for HSBC, and Product Leader at the Bank of England, among others. Swami holds an MSc in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Dundee.
