Rupert Sayer

Rupert Sayer is a seasoned professional in the trade finance media and investment sectors, co-founding Global Trade Review (GTR) in August 2002, which has become a leading brand in trade, commodity, and export finance. Since September 2017, Rupert has served as the co-founder and CEO of GTR Ventures, an innovative firm focused on trade finance investments. In addition to these roles, Rupert has advised Digital Commerce Global since August 2020 and previously co-founded and edited the Trade & Forfaiting Review and e-mmerce magazines at Ark Publishing. Early career experiences include editorial roles at Euromoney, assistance in the House of Commons, and teaching English in Poland and to overseas schoolchildren. Rupert holds a Master’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Reading and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations & Strategic Studies with a history minor from Lancaster University.
