Per Klaar has a diverse work experience in various technology and marketing roles. Per currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Digital Diabetes Analytics since June 2021. Previously, they held the position of Chief Technology and Product Officer at Offerta.se from August 2020 to June 2021, Chief Data Officer from January 2017 to August 2020, and Chief Marketing Officer from October 2012 to January 2017. Before that, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Electronic Arts from August 2011 to October 2012 and as an Online Marketing Manager at GE Healthcare from February 2008 to July 2011. Per began their career at Google in July 2005 as an Account Strategist and became an expert in Google Analytics, among other areas.
Per Klaar completed their Masters in Engineering Physics and Computer Science from Uppsala University from 1998 to 2003. In 2004, they attended the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business for a marketing program. From 2003 to 2005, they returned to Uppsala University to study Marketing.
In addition to their formal education, Per Klaar obtained several certifications in machine learning and deep learning. Per completed the Machine Learning course from Coursera in February 2017. Per also earned certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Convolutional Neural Networks, Sequence Models, and the Deep Learning Specialization, all from Coursera. Per Klaar completed these certifications between September 2017 and March 2018.
