Carla Pedrosa

Carla Pedrosa has a diverse background in human resources and guest services. Carla is currently working as a Human Resources Generalist at Digital Domain since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Recruiter at Corporate Couriers Logistics from June 2022 to December 2022. Carla also had a role as a Guest Service Agent at Vida Spas from January 2022 to April 2022.

From 2019 to 2021, Carla worked at Eminence Organic Skin Care as an HRIS, where they successfully implemented a new HRIS system, automated processes, and generated reports for business analysis.

Previously, they held positions such as a Spa Attendant at Fairmont Pacific Rim from March 2017 to May 2018, where they received recognition for their excellent customer service skills, and as an HR Manager - Business Partner at Steck Indústria Elétrica Ltda from February 2013 to December 2016, where they oversaw HR operations for a Schneider Electric company.

Carla also gained experience as a Manager Total Rewards at Outback Steakhouse Brasil from February 2012 to February 2013, where they managed compensation and benefits for the corporate office and restaurants, and as a Human Resources Supervisor at Sony Brasil from August 2005 to January 2012, where they handled various HR functions including compensation, rewards, and budgeting.

Carla Pedrosa has a diverse educational background. In 2004 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In 2009, they briefly pursued Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2010, they studied HR Management at King George International College. Carla then decided to further their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Ibmec in 2012 to 2013. In 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Post Baccalaureate in Hospitality Services Management at Douglas College. Carla has also engaged in additional professional development, including a Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor program at Ontesol in 2020 to 2021 and Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy at Your Yoga Flow in the same year. Currently, they are planning to acquire an HR Certificate in Employee and Labour Relations in Canada from Simon Fraser University in 2023.
