Pericles Michielin

Pericles Michielin has extensive experience in the animation industry, with a focus on character animation. Pericles began their career as an intern at Vetor Zero in 2003. Pericles then joined Sony Pictures Imageworks in 2005 as a Senior Character Animator, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Character Animator at Digital Domain. Pericles then returned to Sony Pictures Imageworks in 2011 for a brief period before rejoining Digital Domain in 2012. Pericles worked at Digital Domain until 2014, where they held the position of Senior Character Animator. In 2014, they also worked as a freelance Senior Animator at Blur Studio and DAQRI. In 2016, they joined Treyarch as a Senior Cinematics Animator. In 2014, they joined Digital Domain 3.0 as Senior Character Animator, where they are currently employed.

Pericles Michielin's education history begins in 1986 when they attended Colégio São Luis for their high school education. From 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Following this, in 2001, Michielin enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Animation in 2005. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp. In 2015, Michielin attended General Assembly for a Web Development Immersive program, though no specific degree is mentioned.
