Stephen Buckley

Stephen Buckley is an accomplished animator with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as a Senior Animator at Digital Domain since September 2011, notable projects include Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," "Avengers: Infinity War," and "Spider-man: Homecoming." Prior to this, Stephen worked at Rhythm & Hues as a Senior Character Animation Technical Director on "Mr. Popper's Penguins," and at Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Senior Character Animator for titles such as "Spiderman 3" and "I Am Legend." A career at Weta Digital included significant contributions to the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "King Kong." Earlier work at Walt Disney Feature Animation involved animating for "Dinosaur," while contributions to Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" were made during time at Skellington Productions. Initial career steps included animation, writing, and voicing Gumby for Premavision.
