Thomas Thistlethwaite

Thomas Thistlethwaite has a comprehensive work history in the animation industry. Thomas started as a student at Vancouver Film School in 2014 and then worked as a Junior Animator at Atomic Cartoons from November 2015 to April 2016. Thomas continued to progress in their career, becoming a Lead Animator at Bardel Entertainment from May 2016 to September 2017. Thomas then joined ICON Creative Studio as a Senior Animator from May 2018 to January 2019 and later took on the role of Lead Animator from February 2019 to December 2020. Thomas further advanced their career and worked as an Animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks from January 2021 to March 2023. Currently, they are employed as an Animator at Digital Domain starting in March 2023.

Thomas Thistlethwaite began their education in 2009 at Curtin University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia Design three years later in 2012. After a gap, in 2014, they enrolled in Vancouver Film School and obtained a Diploma with Honours in 3D Animation and Visual Effects in 2015.
