Dr Agata Ferreira

Dr. Agata Ferreira serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Status since October 2021 and holds an advisory role at BFG Blockchain Founders Group AG. Ferreira is also an esteemed member of the Expert Panel for the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum, a Research Fellow at the Digital Euro Association, and an advisor with ConsenSys Health. Additional contributions include being a member of the Advisory Council for Blockchain for Europe and holding the position of Assistant Professor at Warsaw University of Technology. Ferreira's expertise is complemented by past roles as Vice Chairman of ITSA and guest professor at NOVA School of Law, along with visiting university lecturer positions at ESDES Lyon Business School. Academic credentials include a PhD in Law from Esade and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Warsaw, along with other distinguished legal training from the University of Oxford and the University of Westminster.
