Wilfredo Lora

Wilfredo Lora has worked in the information technology field since 2007. Wilfredo began their career as an Information Technology Coordinator for the Office of Speaker Newt Gingrich in 2007. In 2010, they worked as a Tier 1 Technician - Call Center for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Government of the District of Columbia. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Network Consultant for eGuard Technology Services and as a Help Desk Specialist for ASI Government. In 2014, they began working as an Information Security Analyst for Cover6 Solutions and as a Helpdesk Technician and System Administrator for Silent Circle. In 2016, they worked as a Systems Engineer/Helpdesk Analyst for Greenstein DeLorme & Luchs, P.C. and from 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Desktop Support Analyst for Boston Properties. Currently, they are employed as an Information Technology Engineer for DGS.

Wilfredo Lora is currently pursuing a B.A.S. Applied Sciences - Cyber Security Concentration from George Mason University with a minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Wilfredo previously obtained an A.A.S. Cybersecurity from Northern Virginia Community College in 2023 and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International. Wilfredo has also obtained certifications from Cover6 Solutions, Active Countermeasures, Security University, and CompTIA. These certifications include the Cover6 Workshop - Virtual SOC Analyst Prep, Cyber Threat Hunting Level 1, Qualified Ethical Hacker - Q/EH, Qualified Security Analyst - Q/SA, and CompTIA Security+.
