Andrew Hicks

Andrew Hicks has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Andrew is currently working as the Head of Program Strategy Support at Digital Green, where they provide program support and strategic guidance. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at Digital Green, focusing on program management, partnership coordination, and thought leadership for the Ethiopia and Kenya country programs. Andrew also provided global project support and partnership development for the organization's digital agri-tech portfolio. Before joining Digital Green, Andrew worked as an Associate in Global Business Development at iDE. Andrew also has experience working with One Acre Fund, where they served as a Program Director and Deputy Country Director, and as a Program Manager focusing on agriculture strategy, innovations, and field operations. Andrew began their career as an Agriculture Extension Volunteer with Peace Corps and later worked as a Product Engineer at ClimaCool Corp.

Andrew Hicks completed their education with a Master of Agriculture in International Agriculture from Oklahoma State University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma Christian University, graduating between 2007 and 2011. In 2011, Andrew received a Lean/Six Sigma Certification from the University of Oklahoma – Gallogly College of Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they have received certifications in Product Strategy and Operations from The Commons (formerly Skillful) in September 2022 and a Green Belt - Lean/Six Sigma certification, institution unspecified.
