Greg Marquez

Greg Marquez has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various industries and roles. Greg is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Digital Insight Games, a next-generation games studio focused on innovative interactive entertainment. Prior to this, Greg worked at Intellivision Entertainment as an SSE - Senior Software Engineer, where they programmed firmware for the Intellivision Amico hand-held controller and developed a virtual file system.

Before that, Greg was a Software Engineer at Scopely, where they designed and wrote back-end rest services and front-end tools for free-to-play mobile games. Greg also managed the deployment and maintenance of backend services using Amazon AWS.

Greg gained valuable industry experience at Amazon, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Greg co-designed, coded, and conducted a live roll-out of an Amazon Prime SOA service, as well as implemented a continuous delivery pipeline for the service.

Greg also has experience as a Principal/Owner/Technologist/Programmer at thunderSimple, where they developed mobile apps for iOS and Android and created web apps and responsive websites.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Software Programmer at San Luis Aviation and owning Marquez Real Estate Holdings.

Greg's career began at Atari Inc., where they served as a Technical Director, and then as VP Technology at Blam!. Greg was also a Lead Programmer at Crystal Dynamics.

From 1983 to 1988, Greg Marquez attended UCLA, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cognitive Science.
