Gary Angel has extensive experience in digital analytics and measurement. In 2016, they became the CEO and Founder of Digital Mortar, a full SaaS in-store customer tracking system. Prior to this, they were the Partner and Principal of the Digital Analytics Center of Excellence at Ernst & Young from 2013-2016. Before that, they were the President and CTO of Semphonic from 1997-2013, a global leader in Digital Measurement and Web analytics with clients such as American Express, Charles Schwab, Electronic Arts, Genentech, Hearst, HP, JPMorgan Chase, Marriott, Merck, Nike, Samsung, Turner Broadcasting, and Walmart.
Gary Angel attended Duke University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Economics.
