Cristian Tone

Cristian Tone is a seasoned software engineer and board member with extensive experience in web application development and mentoring. Currently serving as a board member and Head of Mentors at Digital Nation since January 2014, Cristian plays a key role in selecting promising candidates for the NGO DevAcademy, designed to provide students with practical coding experience. Since November 2010, Cristian has been a Ruby on Rails Engineer at in/PACT, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining web applications, gems, and APIs across multiple versions of Ruby on Rails. Prior experience includes work as a Software Engineer at Hostway Romania from March 2005 to November 2012, where Cristian contributed to the core of the automated order form for Hostway Corporation. Cristian holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Titu Maiorescu University, earned between 2005 and 2007.
