Dennis Reitsma

Dennis Reitsma has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dennis started their career as a Researcher at the Risk International Financial Program in 2015, and then moved on to work as a Student Assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in 2017. In 2019, they joined de Bijenkorf as a CRM Data Analyst and worked there until 2021. Dennis then joined Digital Power, a data consultancy agency, as a Data Engineer. In this role, they gained experience in different types of organizations and faced different challenges. Dennis also had the opportunity to share their knowledge through Digital Power's foundation, the Digital Power Datahub. Later in 2021, Dennis worked as a Python Developer via Digital Power at the National Road Traffic Data Portal. Their responsibilities included creating and maintaining Python application code for a historical road data application used by traffic experts in the Netherlands. Currently, they are working as a Software/Data Engineer at KPN.

Dennis Reitsma began their education at Drachtster Lyceum in 2005, where they pursued a VWO degree in Economie en Maatschappij. After completing their VWO, they attended the University of Groningen from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's Degree in International Business. During their time at the University of Groningen, they also spent a year at Ege University in 2013-2014, although no degree or field of study is specified. Following their bachelor's degree, Reitsma continued their education at the University of Groningen, obtaining a Master's degree in Marketing Analytics and Data Science from 2016 to 2018.
