Driven by the “aha moment,” Dr. Jhacole LeGrand-Dunn has spent much of her career helping individuals access these moments for themselves and others. Receiving her doctorate in Adult Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University, M.Ed. from Texas Southern University, and BA from the University of Houston-Downtown, Jhacole is an advocate for equity and access in education, building community capacity through people, and providing engaging pathways toward success for adult learners. With more than 20 years experience in K-12, postsecondary, and adult learning, her research interests include community access and race equity in education. Prior to joining Digital Promise, Jhacole led diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) instruction for corporate partners, supported teacher development, and created curriculum content for undergraduate and graduate education programs.
