Dr. Yenda Prado is an experienced education professional with a robust background in educational technology, research, and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Ready to Learn Consultant Advisor at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Dr. Prado contributes to projects such as the animated series Lyla in the Loop, aimed at fostering computational thinking among young children. Previous roles include Emerging Technology Impact Fellow at the U.S. Department of Education, where Dr. Prado developed national policies and the EdTech Evidence Toolkit, and Education Researcher at UC Irvine, focused on culturally responsive computer science education for BIPOC and multilingual students. With a PhD in Education from the University of California, Dr. Prado has also held positions at PBS, Language Scholastics, Grail Family Services, and AmeriCorps, emphasizing digital equity, program development, and support for diverse learners.
