Ronald Looman

Ronald Looman serves as the Head of Global IT Operations and CIO EMEA/APAC at Digital Realty since January 2021, overseeing IT operations for a leading provider of colocation data center services. Prior to this role, Ronald was the VP ICT at Interxion from January 2017 to December 2020, where responsibilities included managing ICT for the largest European colocation provider. From September 2014 to December 2016, Ronald held the position of Head of IT Development at Albert Heijn, focusing on aligning IT strategy with business objectives. Ronald's extensive experience in IT leadership includes positions as Sr. Director Corporate IT and Director Development at Ahold, as well as Business Program Manager and IT Manager at Etos, where skills in IT transformation and project management were developed. Educational credentials include degrees from Radboud University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Harvard Business School.
