Mohammad Sefidgar is a Computer Vision Engineer at Autolog since January 2023, while also serving as a Research Intern at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute and a Data Science and Computer Vision Researcher at the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, both roles starting in September and August 2022, respectively. Mohammad has significant experience in autonomous systems, having worked as an Autonomous Systems Engineer at Laboratoire de recherche LASSENA since June 2019, and previously as a Mitacs Accelerate Intern at Laflamme Aero, where the focus was on designing an autonomous precision landing system for UAVs. Earlier roles include Research and Development Engineer positions at Pooya Group and Mehr-Sanat, along with a Research Assistant role in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Malaya. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from École de technologie supérieure, a Master’s degree in Control and Automation from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and ongoing studies towards a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Azad University (IAU), evaluated by WES Canada.
