Brian McCallion

Brian McCallion has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Brian started their career in the Irish Defence Forces as an Engineer in the Army Reserves from 1998 to 2002. Brian then moved on to Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated, where they worked as a Product Specialist for Palm Handheld Computing from 2004 to 2006. Brian then joined Harvey Norman as a Sales Floor Manager for Technical and Computer Sales from 2006 to 2007.

In 2008, Brian joined Genworth as a First Line Support Analyst & Team Lead, and later transitioned to the role of Second Line Support Engineer from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they joined Digital River in 2012 as an IT Security Administrator, where they were responsible for user access management and security system maintenance. Brian then progressed to become a Security Analyst, where they managed security tools and assisted in incident and audit research. Brian then advanced to become a Senior Security Engineer and finally a Principal Security Engineer, overseeing the development and execution of security controls and defenses.

Throughout their career, Brian has showcased expertise in security engineering, user access management, and technical support. Brian has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining and enhancing security measures within organizations.

Brian McCallion attended the University of Limerick from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology & Telecommunications.
