Amos Baynes has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Amos started their career as a Lead IT Recruiter at Volt Workforce Solutions in 2011, where they sourced and counseled professionals in the IT industry for contract positions. Amos ensured an excellent fit for both the client companies and candidates, assisting candidates throughout the screening process.
In 2014, Amos transitioned to become a Software Developer at Relias Learning, where they worked in a small team using Agile methodology. Amos developed learning management system software and was responsible for creating, testing, debugging, and releasing enterprise-quality software. Amos collaborated with other developers to define objectives and produce efficient, well-documented, and easy-to-read code.
Amos joined LexisNexis in 2016 as a QA Test Engineer, where they developed and executed automation and performance tests in an Agile framework. Amos utilized various testing methodologies such as Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Unit Testing to ensure high-quality software products. Amos worked closely with developers, Dev/QA Managers, and Product Owners to analyze and prioritize needs.
In 2017, they joined Red Hat as a Senior QA Engineer and continued their role until mid-2018. During this period, they contributed to quality assurance efforts and ensured the delivery of reliable software.
Amos then joined Acumen Physician Solutions in 2018 as a QA Engineer, where they played a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the company's software before moving on to their next endeavor in 2019.
Currently, Amos is working at Digital Turbine as a DevOps Engineer, starting in November 2021. The details of their role and responsibilities within this position are ongoing.
Amos Baynes holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Computer Programming from Guilford Technical Community College. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from North Carolina State University. In terms of certifications, Amos has obtained an Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google in September 2022.
