Matthew Potter, MD, serves as a Venture Fellow Leader and Venture Fellow at DigitalDx Ventures since September 2022, focusing on due diligence and market analysis in early-stage diagnostics and digital health. Concurrently, Matthew holds the position of Graduate Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, contributing to the Center for Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence on projects mapping digital health applications across the university. Previously, Matthew was a Project Manager at TRxEAT, enhancing medication adherence through a WhatsApp-based ChatBot from January 2020 to August 2022, and worked as a Community Service Medical Officer at Rob Ferreira Hospital. Other roles include Co-Founder & Director of Futures in Health, internships in trauma and general surgery at Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP and various hospitals within the Gqeberha Hospital Complex, and various leadership positions with the UCT Surgical Society. Matthew is pursuing dual Master's degrees in Public Health and Business Administration at Johns Hopkins, following a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Cape Town.
