Greg Filkins

Greg Filkins is an experienced Post Production Engineer currently working at DigitalFilm Tree since October 2020, where technical support is provided for editors, colorists, and VFX artists, alongside maintenance of NVMe SANs and NAS storage systems. Previously, Greg served as Head of Video & Engineering at Wild Woods Picture & Sound, managing production staff and providing technical support for various projects. Other notable positions include Chief Engineer at Shapeshifter Post, where oversight of media file delivery to networks occurred, and Avid Service and Support Manager at Mad Old Nut Productions, focusing on the Avid rental division for popular TV shows. Early career experiences include technical operations at The Los Angeles Film School, audio and video engineering at The Walt Disney Company, and production engineering at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council. Education includes training from the Sony Training Institute and ongoing coursework at The Recording Workshop.
