Seth Sattler, CAMS

Seth Sattler has diverse work experience in the field of compliance and anti-human trafficking intelligence. Seth has held various roles at DigitalMint, starting as an Associate Director of Compliance in October 2017 and progressing to become the Director of Compliance in October 2018. Currently, Seth is the Chief Compliance Officer at DigitalMint, a position they started in December 2021. In addition, they served as the BSA Officer at DigitalMint since June 2019. Seth has also worked as a Cryptocurrency Intelligence Experteer at the Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative (ATII) since March 2020. Additionally, they have served as the Executive Director of the Cryptocurrency Compliance Cooperative since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Seth gained experience as an AML Investigator at Huntington National Bank from September 2014 to September 2017. Seth also worked as a Student Research Assistant at the College of Social Science at Michigan State University from February 2013 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, Seth served as a Student Intern at the Drug Enforcement Administration from April 2012 to December 2012. Seth recently joined Castellum.AI as an Advisor in September 2022.

Seth Sattler completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice at Michigan State University from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, they pursued Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing studies at JP Morgan Chase.

Sattler also obtained several certifications. In August 2016, they earned the CAMS certification from ACAMS. Subsequently, in 2022, they obtained the Chainalysis KYT Certification and in July of the same year, they completed the Chainalysis Reactor Certification from Chainalysis Inc. In 2023, they received various certifications from TRM Labs, including TRM Certified Investigator (TRM-CI), TRM Crypto Fundamentals Certification (TRM-CFC), TRM Advanced Crypto Investigator (TRM-ACI), and TRM Crypto Compliance Specialist.
