Jawaad Tariq

Jawaad Tariq is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at DigitalOcean since January 2023. Previously, Jawaad held positions as Senior Vice President at Arcserve and Vice President of Software Engineering at StorageCraft Technology Corp., where strategic leadership was provided to develop next-generation products and software services. Additional roles include Engineering Director at SanDisk Corporation and Fusion-io, where responsibilities spanned storage technology development and management of engineering teams. At Novell, Inc., significant contributions were made as Engineering Director and Director of Engineering for Data Center and Cloud Management products. Jawaad holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University and attended Government College University, Lahore.
