Hend Helal

Hend Helal's work experience begins with their role as a Trainee at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from October 2017 to July 2018. During this time, they participated in a training program to enhance their software development skills, particularly for engineering-related applications such as CAD, BIM, and GIS.

After completing their training, Hend Helal joined VirtualProjects in July 2018 as an AR Application Developer. In this role, they helped develop a mobile AR app using C#, AR Core, and Unity. Hend was involved in all aspects of the application development process, from design to testing and marketing. Hend utilized geometric algorithms to create the app's main features, including taking measurements on Model AR.

Hend Helal also held the position of Software Automation Engineer at VirtualProjects from March 2019 to December 2019. Hend used the Revit SDK to develop add-ins that automated repetitive tasks for architecture, structures, and MEP disciplines. Hend focused on building and maintaining efficient reusable code and collaborated with engineers to understand their requirements and minimize their efforts through programming.

Continuing at VirtualProjects, Hend Helal worked as a Web Developer from December 2019 to April 2021. During this time, they worked on a web application for a real estate company that included a 3D viewer for unit models. Hend met with clients to gather requirements and provided ideas for the best approach. Hend Helal performed analysis, design, and development of the application to meet user requirements.

In 2021, Hend Helal joined Faredirect as a Full Stack Developer, which is a part of FLYR Labs. Hend worked on building customizable dashboards using Apollo.js, GraphQL, and Chart.js for both front-end and back-end development.

Recently, in 2022, they transitioned to the role of Full Stack Engineer at FLYR Labs, where they continue their work in full stack development.

Hend Helal obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architecture & Construction from Alexandria University. Hend attended the university from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their degree, Hend Helal also earned the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2022.
