Kristen Bernardo

Kristen Bernardo is the VP, Finance & Operations at Digital Onboarding. Kristen has over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Kristen has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Providence College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Rhode Island.

Kristen began their career at The Washington Trust Company as a VP, Senior Financial Reporting Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the preparation of financial statements, 10K, 10Q, 8K filings for public REITs filed with the SEC. Kristen also oversaw quarterly reviews and annual audits, working closely with both internal and external auditors.

In February 2018, Kristen transitioned to AR Global Investments, LLC as their Portfolio Controller. In this role, Kristen was responsible for the accounting function for a portfolio of ~120 tenants. Kristen successfully created a process that streamlined the monthly close process down from 3 weeks to < 10 days. In addition, Kristen documented step by step process instructions for all work papers and responsibilities and created process narratives and controls that were updated annually.

In November 2020, Kristen joined Digital Onboarding as their Controller. In this role, Kristen is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This includes preparing financial statements, overseeing the budgeting process, managing cash flow, and overseeing the accounting team.

Kristen Bernardo attended Bentley University where they obtained their bachelor's degree in corporate finance and accounting.
