Wisam Shalaby

Wisam Shalaby has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Starting in 2004, Wisam worked as a Project Manager at Exist AB. In 2005, they joined Electrolux as an IT Coordinator, where they oversaw the outsourcing of the company's IT to IBM. Wisam then moved to DigitalRoute in 2006, where they held several roles including Technical Account Manager, Partner Account Manager, Business Development Director, and Head of Global Alliances. In 2012, they became the Vice President of Sales for the Middle East and Africa region at DigitalRoute and closed a significant subscription deal in Africa. Wisam went on to serve as the Vice President of Partner Sales for EMEA, Vice President of Global Enterprise Sales, and Senior Vice President of Global Business Development & Alliances. In their most recent role at DigitalRoute, Wisam held the position of Vice President, Global Solutions Consulting and is currently the Vice President of EMEA & APAC Enterprise.

Wisam Shalaby has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, which was obtained from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport between 1997 and 2003. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained several certificates from Harvard Business School Online in various fields such as finance and accounting, alternative investments, sustainable investing, and leading with finance. Wisam also holds certifications in MEDDPICC Masterclass from MEDDICC and in scuba diving from PADI.
