Project Manager / Business Analyst at Digiterre

Tim Kimber has a diverse work experience in the field of business analysis. Tim started their career at Excelian in December 2011, where they worked as a Commodities Business Analyst until August 2013. During this time, they participated in industry workshops and worked on the Swaps Data Repository Regulatory Reporting initiative.

Tim then joined Barclays Capital as a Commodities Business Analyst in August 2011. Here, they continued to work on the Swaps Data Repository Regulatory Reporting initiative and actively participated in industry workshops and fpML working groups.

In September 2013, Tim moved to Bank of America Merrill Lynch and worked as a Commodities Business Analyst on the EMIR Trade Reporting project. Their responsibilities included defining requirements, ensuring correct implementation of regulations, and testing internally and externally.

From May 2014 to March 2016, Tim worked as a Business Analyst at GFT Financial. Tim primarily worked on migrating the Repo Trading system from Sungard Martini to ION Anvil. This involved full front to back integration and UAT testing with multiple risk, settlement, and confirmation systems.

In January 2017, Tim joined Deutsche Bank as a Functional/Business Analyst, where they focused on Big Data and Global Transaction Banking. Tim worked on various projects until December 2016.

Tim then joined Adaptive Financial Consulting Ltd in May 2017. Tim first worked with a start-up, capturing business requirements and acting as a subject matter expert on Financial Markets and Commodities trading. Tim helped the founders create a deliverables document based on business requirements. Tim remained with Adaptive Financial Consulting until February 2021.

After leaving Adaptive, Tim joined Phi Partners in May 2020 as a Business Analyst. Tim worked in this role until February 2021.

Tim's most recent work experience is at Adaptive Financial Consulting since March 2021, where they again worked as a Business Analyst. Their current position has him working with Digiterre since April 2023.

Tim Kimber completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University, graduating in 1997. In addition to their degree, they obtained the ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in March 2011. Furthermore, Tim earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance in February 2011.
