Eric Thompson has been working in the design industry since 1999. Eric began their career as an Intern / Jr. Designer at Sumaato Advertising. From 2005-2007, they were a Web / Graphic Designer at The Firm Graphics, and from 2007-2010, a Visual Designer at HUGE Inc. During this time, they created designs for clients such as Disney, ABC, FOX, FX, Jet Blue, Miramax, Nutrisystem, Transamerica, and Dish Network. In 2010, they were a Sr. Designer at BLITZ and a Freelance Designer at Schematic. From 2012-2014, they were a Sr. Designer at Apple, where they were responsible for the layout and composition of product marketing experiences on Apple.com. Eric then worked as an Art Director at Enjoy the Weather from 2016-2017, where they focused on concepting ideas, creative strategy, visual and interaction design projects. Since 2017, they have been a Design Manager at Nike, leading a team in design standards towards web, mobile, and mobile applications, as well as digital in-store retail solutions. Eric is currently in charge of Nike’s first design system for consumer-facing digital experiences. In 2022, they will become a Product Design at Digits.
Eric Thompson attended Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design/advertising and digital media.
