Terence Farmer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 1999, they worked at the University of Missouri College of Engineering as a Statistics Instructor/Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant until 2002. Terence then worked as an Adjunct Faculty of Mathematics at Columbia College from 2004 to 2004. In 2004, they joined the City of Columbia, Missouri, where they served as an Engineering Assistant and later as an Assistant Traffic Engineer until 2005.
Terence then moved on to Citi, where they worked as a Management Information System Analyst from August to December 2005, and later as a Senior Credit Policy Data Manager from January 2006 to June 2007. In July 2007, they joined The Walt Disney Company as a Marketing Reporting and Analytics Manager until November 2008. Terence then assumed the role of Senior Industrial Engineer until September 2011 and Senior Revenue Analyst until December 2013.
From 2014 to 2017, Terence joined Walt Disney World as an Experience Insights Analytics Manager. Terence then worked at Citrix as a Manager, Tools and Analytics from January to October 2017. Following this, they moved to Southeast Toyota Finance, taking on the role of Senior Risk Analyst from January 2018 to March 2020. Terence then joined Broward County Government in March 2020, where they worked as the Supervisor of the Innovation Unit until January 2022.
Most recently, Terence became the Senior Director of Risk Data Science at DigniFi, starting in January 2022.
Terence Farmer has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University, which was obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2008 to 2009. From 1997 to 2000, they also completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Terence received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Alabama State University between 1993 and 1997.
Terence has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Terence completed a Certificate Program in Revenue Management from eCornell, Cornell University in 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Power BI Dashboard in a Day certification from Broward County Government in August 2020. In May 2018, Terence obtained the Survival Data Mining certification from SAS. Terence also received certifications such as Using SAS Programs to Execute Pig and HiveQL in Hadoop from SAS in April 2018, Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate from Tableau Software in November 2017, IBM Certified Database Associate from IBM in March 2005, SAS Certified Base Programmer from SAS in January 2005, and Microsoft Office Specialist Master from Microsoft in May 2004.
Terence has also pursued further education in Building and Solving Optimization Models with SAS/OR and Credit Scorecard Development and Implementation, although specific details about when and where they obtained these certifications are not available.
