Brendan Myers

Brendan Myers has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 as a Refrigeration Mechanic/Apprentice at Myers Refrigeration. Brendan later worked as an HVAC/R Technician at Plan Group Inc. from 2013 to 2014, and then moved to Century Mechanical Services as an HVAC/R Technician from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Brendan joined BITZER Canada Inc. as an Aftermarket Sales Specialist for Ontario, before transitioning to Plan Group Inc. again, this time as a Senior Service Technician from 2016 to 2018. Brendan then became a Foreman in Mechanical Service from 2018 to 2019, and finally a Mechanical Operations Manager for Ottawa from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Brendan is the Director of Operations at DILFO Mechanical, where they have held the roles of Operations Manager and Operations Manager (HVAC Services) in previous years. Additionally, Brendan has also served as the Director of RSES Canada since 2016, and as the Educational Chair of RSES Canadian Capital Chapter since 2014. Brendan holds certifications as RSE, PMP, and PMI-CP.

Brendan Myers completed an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems Mechanic Apprenticeship at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2011. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2022. Brendan also holds a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, achieved in April 2021. Additionally, Brendan has obtained various certifications and completed courses in construction management, change management, lean six sigma, leadership, business process improvement, and strategic planning, among others.
